ReGen ,in partnership with The Paradise Center and Georgia Tech's School of Architecture - High Performance Building Lab, launched a ground-breaking project to monitor energy use in 50 homes with unprecedented precision. This collaboration aims to empower households with strategies to reduce energy bills through efficiency and electrification, leveraging real-time energy data. By engaging the Hollowell Corridor community residents through surveys and workshops, the project also seeks to align household energy practices with broader sustainability goals. Insights from this initiative are fueling the development of a more accurate Urban Building Energy Model, which aims to guide energy retrofitting and policy strategies, especially for underserved communities.
