Freddie Stevens III is the Principal Consultant and Founder of ReGen. As the son of an entrepreneur, he’s always wanted to have his own business. This goal, coupled with the fact that he’s known to have a great interest in problem-solving, has led him to a fulfilling career. After graduating from Morehouse College with a degree in Business Administration, he went into the world of community development with a passion for finding solutions for those in need. He worked for over 20 years in the field of revitalization, much of which was in the Metro Atlanta area. Through his work, Freddie ultimately realized that there’s a disparity in access to resources and opportunities for the organizations in these communities and the residents they aim to help. Freddie’s goal with ReGen is to close that gap!
Working with groups like ATL Housing Authority and the Dekalb County Government System, Freddie became well-versed in public housing redevelopment, homeownership assistance, and even the management of federal funding. Another important partnership of his was with the Grove Park Foundation, where he further enhanced his knowledge of housing affordability and worked to make this a reality in underdeveloped communities. He was also a board member for the Lifecycle Building Center, and has built many meaningful connections through his work.
